Wireless internet @ home

okay, anyone who has visited my house would know that i have a wireless router at home, which i set it up by myself sometime in 2004.

(yes, i'm very proud of myself, opps, bhb.... hahaha)

i was using it on thurs nite to upload photos on facebook, it was working fine until fri morning when i decided to turn it on, the wireless internet function of the router broke down. wth. but the normal LAN cable internet access works fine. I tried to connect my laptop to the internet using the LAN cable, however it would not seem to work. spent like an hour trying to get it fixed. turn off modem, turn off router, reset router, re-install router software, reset comp, reset settings, turn on this , turn on that, u get the idea....

but after some time, i decided that this was a lost cause, n decided to declare my router, as non-wireless enabled. anyway, wats the pt of having a wireless router with no wireless internet access, it defeats the purpose of having one in the first place.

so have to go sim lim n buy new one, wat a waste of $.
