Parc Guell (Barcelona)
Parc Guell was designed by Anthonio Gaudi(the father of modernism) as a property venture for his friend, Count Guell. hence the name Parc Guell. Gaudi's architecture is very distinctive with the colourful mosiac tile patterns and he usually gets his inspiration from nature. like insects, animals, waves, etc. But only 2 houses were actually finished and then the city took over and converted it into a public park. notice the mosiac garden n the water-spitting lizard, as well as the longest bench in the world(decorated with ceramic fragments).
